Post Best place to get gears installed in Central Tx

I want to get 4.10s installed on my 95 z28. I know that wherever i go the people that do it need to know what their are doing. If anybody knows the good place to go let me know, thanks

Chris

J&P transmission on highway 21 in Bryan texas does an extremely good job. I have never heard of anyone having a bad experience with them. They will take at least half a day, but that is because they take their time and do it right. I will find their # and an approx price for a gear install. let you know soon.

I have heard good things about L&B performance too. They are supposed to be pretty good.

I can vouch for AHARTZ28. He did mine and it's like a new car! He also rebuilt my trans. I can't swear to it but I think he tweeked my AC, since it blows a lot colder now. He does great work. Now, about that cam...

What kind of rentals does Gunn have? I don't want to be driven around for a week again. Not that it's bad being chauferred around in a 2002 Yukon XL.

I can vouch for Ryan as well, he installed 3.73's and an aluminum driveshaft in my car about 6months ago, and now I want to step up to 4.10's, new carrier, and a Summit support cover, he is going to install these this week.

He has also done 4.10 gears on a friend of mines WS6, and my friend was happy with the work, so he now wants Ryan to install his Hotcam.

There is another member here named Alex who had Ryan install 4.10's in his Z28.

The list goes on and on.
