Automatic transmission shop in Houston area

97 Trans Am, automatic 72k miles
I installed the hypertech power programming and set up for firmer shifts a few weeks ago.
I was on trip from Tampa to Houston this weekend. I was running 80+/- on I10.
I slowed down to around 60mph for traffic and then started to accelerate. The transmission slipped and my speed dropped to 30mph. I ran up to 60mph and tried manually shifting. No 3rd or od. I have a good 1st, 2nd and reverse gear. Plenty of fluid. I can't see anything loose or leaking.

I need a shop in the Houston area

Thanks
Frank

I have no experience with this place, but I have heard many good things about it. All I have is the phone number.

He's a 200-4R guru, but I bet he would work on a lowly 700/4L60E.

VERY trustworthy and reputable.

This guy has done one trans for me and 2 for two other friends who have remained my friends. He used to be THE tranny guy for Texan Ford. He does a lot of the trans work for a lot of the techs that have drag cars. He quite working for Texan about 2 years ago to start his own business.....seems he was busier from side jobs. Anyway, he knows his stuff. Redid a 700R4 for me.
