Yet, my car retains more of its factory "doo dads" than yours does(ABS, no locker.. and of course all the good stuff like AC etc), gets 23mpg on the highway, idles tamer than most head/cam LS1s. I daily drive it, I only recently got a bike.. and I still don't even ride it much. I put almost 20K a year miles on my car..

Me and my fiances dad rebuilt the rear end ourselves on his front driveway after I got off of work at 10pm until 2am sometimes and spent a total of 60 bucks...did you hear that jack ***....60 bucks!!! ....2 axel bearings.....free hookup on the pressing, and the fluids and pinion seal/gaskets etc....do the math tool....by the way we rebuilt it right since your roomie, Chris B...alot more knowledgeable "gear head" than you can ever wish to be" had had it rebuilt for him.....again HE PAID SOMEBODY TO DO IT....yes, just cause you know everything doesn't mean you have to do your own ****...again, dissproving your "I work on all my $hit so I am better than you" theory....and the people who had rebuilt it had done it wrong...and i didn't get set back 700 bones for it...no I am not talking trash about him...hes alot better person than you can ever wish to be...

Does craig g know his stuff? yes he does. he was one of the first LS1 ported to start making 440+rw with head/cam setups. Not to say other people aren't making power either, but is stuff is good.. its hard to argue with that.

You call some of those trailer cars street cars, yet mine isn't.. that makes zero since.. it sounds like you defination of a street car means its "stock".. which again, makes zero since. now you are saying your car isn't a street car. What is your defination of a street car?

All you have is a head cam LS1 was simply stated that all you have is some parts you bolted on your motor. there are 1000's of people that have driven to MTI, or any other shop and have the exact same setup.


Yea, "ghetto turbo headers".. They are 304/321 stainless, all mandrel, TIG welded with the latest miller stuff. stainless 309 rod and 100% argon, and yes I am a back gassing it.. not that you know what that is... just like my "ghetto" ported cylinder heads on my old motor that trapped 130mph in a 3700lb car.. with a dinky LT1 motor!

Don't start talkin **** about my work, cause I have backed everything I have ever said I was going to do, ever. run 12s on a stock motor, NA.. did that(granted, so have 100 other people.. but none in our area at that point). then 10s NA.. did that.. then 9s on bottle.. never ran a 1/4 mi 9sec pass.. but I did run a 6.4 @ 112 in the 1/8th.. which is 9sec car territory(best 1/4 was 10.3 @ 137.. on a 6.7 @ 108).

Yes, I ran a 12.8 with a stock motor on nittos and a lid ONLY...wait I lied and free mods aswell(ported MAF, EGR!)...I have the slip and had plenty of BCS people aswell as Waco people there at TAD to prove it...

All that turbo manifold talk sounds expensive...but again you said you don't spend that much on it....

I never have gone to MTI or anyother speed shop for that matter for instals...the first and only time was at Speed Demon where Chris tuned her for me via LS1 edit....

nope, turbo header isn't expensive. I am TIGing it, and fabricating it myself. its gonna cost less than a set of off the shelf headers. A friend is hooking me up on ceramic coating when they are done.


first of all.. this has nothing to do with how often I pull my pud, I thought we were talking about cars.. second, I have only been to 3 Kart events where I was out of town. 2 of which Erik Kullenburg(my full time 'wrench) was with me, and nobody else.. the last was a few weeks ago in Rock Island, IL.. where Chris Jennings(actually does have an LS1) was with me.. but we slept in the surburban...
