i've looked on there, but couldn't find the actual numbers-how many ppm for nox, hc, co, for those two years.

Re: Anyone know the emissions standards for different years?

all dynoed 5 gas test performed on cars from the production yesr between 1981-1995. 1996 is the year they switch over to obd2 testing but those numbers are still the same for 96 and newer cars.

high speed test 25 mph using 25% of engines total power (25/25 test)

HC (ppm) 117<
CO (%) .65
CO2 (%) n/a
O2 (%) n/a
NOx (ppm) 821<
dilution (%) >6

low speed test 15 mph using 50% of engines total power (15/50 test)

HC (ppm) 120<
CO (%) .67
CO2 (%) n/a
O2 (%) n/a
NOx (ppm) 907<
dilution (%) >6

hope thats what you were wanting.
