I wasn't racing, I was just behind them but I couldn't keep up. It was that dude w/ the white SS. He took it to LG and they put a cam in it. He said it dynoed 390 but I highly doubt that it was that high. I don't think he has any head work. He raced a '99 Vette. The Vette is getting a cam here in a few weeks. It has a set of heads and Corsa exhaust on it right now. They took off on Kell and I was behind them. The SS beat the Vette by about 2 carlengths or so. The guy in the SS said he could take it up to 6500 but he was only taking it to 6K because the cam was fresh. He said that it was still breaking in. I just listened and didn't say a word.

Mike,

I think the guy with the white SS is Jeff that works with my brother at Magic Air. He keeps telling my brother he can smoke me. I guess he can now. That 99 Vette is Chris, right. That blue Vette is sweet. Did you see a silver 99 LS1 comaro last night? It belongs to Shawn, he was racing last night. Shawn's pretty cool and his comaro is stock but usually fast. Later.

Mark

Oh, thanks again Joe for the cam and heads. My car is bad a$$ now.

Mark,
Tell him that fine if he can beat you but at least you didn't spend $25,000+ on your car yet.

I think he paid like $2300 to have that cam put in. Thats crazy.

I'm not sure which silver SS your talking about. Does Shawn have a black Mustang? And that SS is his g/f's car and she used to have a teal Z but he wrecked it?

It's not an SS. It's just a 2000 Z28 LS1. He doesn't even have the LS6 intake or anything the 2002's have. I think I can take him now that my car's running good.
His girlfriend has a Grandam. I don't think he has or had a black mustang. His dad has a nice Harley though.

I think Chris uses Arlington Motorsports for his mods. He would be about $3,000 richer if he used Joe!

Joe, oil leak stopped.

I can do one but I could not beat the $200 installed. Not one of my faviorite things to do. $200 is dirt cheap. Probally take me about 4-5 hours from start to finish if i were to do it alone. I can do most stuff like heads and cam installs, rather not mess with rear ends gear set ups or converter/clutch installs. Even though i would do both for the right price! Thanks for asking though! Let me know if you or your friends need anything other than that installed. IE: headers, nitrous kits, guages, cam, heads just to name a few!

Joe

I still need to fix that oil leak but I can't decide if I want to mess with it or just let Richard do it. I would let Richard do it but he takes too long. You got that opti back? How does it run? I think my car is running better right now than it ever has. I can't wait to see what it would feel like with a bigger throttle body. I have no doubt that it would run a .2-.3's quicker right now than it did before. It pulls unbelievably hard. It actually seems a little fast now.

How much for a CC305 cam install? You wouldn't have to do it yourself. I would help as much as I could and I could get others as well. Plus I can bring the car to you (anything to get the cost down ).
