Whats going on there pounders! Wanted to know where are all the hardcore F-body owners hanging out at? I know they had that cruise spot up in Austin but switched to a new location due to the newly built *Outback Steakhouse*. Any details would be nice.

The Round Rock show you mentioned moved a little farther north, to the Gatti-land parking lot at I-35 & 79/Sam Bass Road.

There's also a similar car-show-style hangout at the Y in Oak Hill (south Austin).

There's another meet, with a younger, more race-inclined, crowd, but that spot seems to move around some - and I'm not in the know as to where it is...

During the week, the Texas Racing Scene meets at Fuddruckers on Weds, and the Austin f-body club meets at Rudy's on Thursday...

I heard that that the Sam Bass one went away also. I heard once that some gather at Frontera lot near Fridays. We really need one like the old one that Outback and C&W wear place killed. It moved from near Outback site to north end and then that Boot place called law to run everyone off. That was the last time I went to it. It was a really good spot with easy off/on access and cars could wind up leaving onto I35 ramp. It had really good attendance as well. We really need another spot in R.R. that is similar that is permanent so it will draw from Waco to S.A. Maybe in Georgetown?

p.s.: Eventually there is going to be another shopping center on north end of R.R. on the West side of 35 near 3406.

 

I know the Sam Bass one was still on as of a month or so ago. I haven't been back by there since... :dunno:
