We were approached by Road America this week
about an event that was originally
scheduled to run the weekend of July 30th - Aug 1st which was
CANCELED.
We were asked if we could put an event together
within this short of a time frame.
At this time we DO NOT have the track guaranteed
to us because there is another group in line
ahead of us that has first dibs on that weekend.
But if they decline, all we have to do is say YES
and it's ours. We would only ask for Saturday and
Sunday like usual, but no Friday seminar or
dinner.

In the meantime, we need to try and find out who
would be able to participate in the event. What
we are asking is for a response from those who
would be willing to commit providing we get the
track. Price is not determined yet, but it WOULD
NOT exceed the April '04 rate of $350. Feedback
from this thread will help us determine if we can
take on the new event weekend.
This is a one time only offer from RA to do this
in July.

Any word on who's getting the track?

I would like to get in on this if possible.

 

We contacted the track this afternoon and informed them we would not be taking the weekend. Unfortunately we only were able to get half the people needed to respond to make the weekend happen.


We still are having an event at Road America on October 16th & 17. The spots are only about 60% full for that event. There are plenty of spots still available but do not wait to long they may fill quickly.
