Me and a couple freinds are about to make a trip out west to colorado here in a couple weeks. I was just wondering if any of you out there could give us the heads up on what to expect driving I-80. Is this heavily patroled, tons of tolls or anything else? We just dont want any huge suprises when we get out there.

Thanks

the only toll you will have to pay is when you merge from 294N to 1-80 west i think its like 60- 80 cents dont remeber, and for the traffic, on the border of indiana and illinois road construction is a muth facker all the way untill i-80 splits off from 294. Best advice is avoid it at rush times like 5:30 -8:00 am and 2-6pm traffic is pretty heavy with those times. Gotta love traveling the crossroads og america. gl any more questions just ask.

when you go through Omaha, take a good look around, and again at Lincoln. That way you will have something to remember seeing after when you get to the flat barron lands beyond them! Other than that, there can, and most likely will be State Police from the Harrison street exit until Lincoln, so watch out!

Rolling through Iowa isn't gonna be much of a hassle. Traffic flows pretty good. Not a whole lot of State Patrols, but, just keep an eye out.
