Well from the last thread of the 14.2 sec run....well he're the video.
Its the Dark-Red Ford CrewCab with the cowl induction hood. The 1st shot (38 secs. into the video)in the left lane is the 'ol calibration (smokes's like a freight train). The 2nd shot (1.42 into the video) (near lane) is one the several 14.2 second runs.
There is a white crewcab ford with dual stacks.....get this..1.7 60fts, 13.80's in the 1/4. Runs Propane, 2 stage NOS, and 53psi of boost. Then on the next run, blew his 3rd head gasket, and shut down the track (both lanes) for over an hour (15 quarts of oil, and 4 gallons of coolant as 3 of the freeze plugs were blown out).

I would rather see the 3.4L running better times but this is another underdog.
guy here iwth a GMC envoy supercharged was running 14.9s on a hot hot night, on a good day he might see 14.7s.
Those trucks amaze me, I do like seeing hte smoke stacks though

Ever since I got the truck.....the camaro hasn't seen the track.....so lets see, that means its close to 4 years ago.

Show me anything else that hauls 6 people in luxury, can move a friend's apartment, out run all the mustangs, and most LT1 Camaros, and STILL pull your house of its foundation on the way to the track........and still get 17mpg and run 500,000 miles before it first maybe rebuild?????

Sure a Camaro can run 12's, but can 6 people go to vegas in it...NO.
Sure a Honda can run 13's, but can it tow a boat to the lake.....NO.
Sure a Mustange can run 12's, but will get good mpg and not grenade........NO.
.....this was the point I was trying to make.
As for hot-rodding, its a lot less than you think to make one of diesel's run hard.

When you think of diesels, the first thought may not be racing, but goddamn, those engine are strong as hell! Toyota's 2JZ-GTE is known to be pretty damn tough (can take up to 900 rwhp on stock internals), but even then, you don't see many Supras running 53 psi of boost!
Who else thinks smoke stacks are cool? I love seeing them in trucks!
