Question A/C problems?

My air conditioner gets cold but it cuts out when I accelerate. The fan shuts slows down and sometimes shuts off completly until I let off the gas. What is wrong. Loose belt, bad a/c or electrical.

I decided to check things out myself. I took off the bottom part of my dash and looked around. I found what looks like different colored tubes or wires connected to round plastic boxes, look like they might be fans. I found one tube that wasn't on all they way so I pushed it back on. I did this with the rest off them. Now it works just fine. I hope that was the problem not just a coincedence. Hope this helps you guys. Later.

Theres also this a/c check valve on the pasenger side of the engine compartment. this controls the direction of the vents inside the car. If this peice developes a small crack in it depending on the temperature it could expand and loose pressure causing one of the symptoms above.

dude, it's not a problem with your a/c, it's a performance mod on your car that cuts out the a/c out wide open throttle. i bet if you lift the hood and have someone in the car on the gas. every time you hit wide open throttle the serpentine belt keeps spinning but the a/c pulley stops. don't be afraid. it's a performance thing. sorta like when people take out their a/c to take load off the crank pulley. i'm not sure which camaros have it. but my 97 30th anniversary camaro does it. and my 93 trans am doesn't.
