What roll bar can I put in my car that still gives access to the backseats, so people can still ride in the back.

 

umm, can i ask why?? you are running a 16 second 1/4 you dont need one until you hit what 11's??? just curious, not flaming

you can allways get one made and tell whoever makes it that you still need access to the backseats.

 

Why do you want a rollbar? You know what happens when you get a rollbar? Guys like me start trying to race you because rollbars are needed in fast cars and I only race fast cars.

rksport has one with access you can remove the middle bar for access i belive!!

 

its all about looks when it comes to a V6. i really wanted one when my car was young, but then what do you tell the people who want to race you?

1fastv6, thank you! Im not racing my car. Yea, I ran it down the track a couple times one night. I put my car in car shows alot and I think its a nice touch to see a roll bar in a car. Plus, it puts the parents as ease when Im out driving since they know Ive got a roll bar. Yea my car is not fast. I want the roll bar for one thing... LOOKS

Josh,One other benifit..Chassis stiffening for better handling.Coarse theres the added weight,but definitely showwy.

A cage is goin in my Z.I thought of a Bar one time(for my 6) glad I didnt b/c I wont be racin IT anymore.Hell of car

Don't get a roll bar all it will do is slow you down because it gonna add more weight than you want for the car that you have spend the money on something that will put more power in your car not slow it down don't worry your camaro isn't gonna flip anytime soon unless you go off a cliff.....

 

I was looking at the coupe/street bar from rksport. How much does it weigh? I run 15.7 now, how much will it slow me down? Thanks

 

15.75 with the roll bar, but please (i am not being mean, just trying to help you save face) when you get the roll bar, dont run down the track. go to thet track and look sharp but dont run down it and do 15.7. 14.7 ok, but 15.7 no way. please. but i am all for geting one and looking good.

 

Well Im not gonna tell anyone I have a roll bar. I feel kinda stupid for getting one bc so many people have given me a hard time about it, but im not trying to look fast or anything I just want one bc i think it looks kinda cool. Most guys dont realize that and they just point and laugh but oh well. I guess ill just deal with all the **** ill get from it.

they will only laugh if you run a 15+
that is something you cant hide, so get it and look damn good. i personally want a SS hood. what good is that going to do me down the track? i want it cause it looks good!
