How many mods can you do to the car before you start to void the warranty?

This is kinda a tricky question....The only time your warranty will be voided is if the problem is caused by something you've installed that's aftermarket. You can mod the heck out of your car and not worry about warranty work, unless like I said the problem stems from an aftermarket add on. Most modification parts these days are tested for this reason. Who wants to buy an intake and have numerous problems after installation. Parts are supposed to help your cars performance not hinder it. Dealerships will swear by it all day long that aftermarket parts are not tested, and 9 times out of 10 are the cause of problems. BULLS*$T!!!!! Don't let them tell you that. Look on the lot, I bet you see at least one Chevy truck with aftermarket exhaust on it which is a dealer add-on. I've been dealing with this for the last 4 years now. If all else fails, remove everything possible to eliminate any question whether or not your aftermarket mods are the cause of the problem. Have fun.......

spelling may be off, but the Mangnuson Warranty act covers you, so long as
A) you don't crack open the motor and modify the internal components, or
B) a bolt on directy causes a problem.

Air intakes, exhausts, pulleys, even superchargers are covered depending on your boost level.

Could you explain a little more about this? I have never heard of this before and may end up being quite helpful when I get my Powerdyne installed.

Put a new cam, a supercharger, and nitrous on it. The dealer won't care, they'll be happy to honor your warranty! :D
