This sound has been present since the car was brand new. It is almost like a popping sound to a gurgling sound. Does it all the time while the car is idling .. Car is completely stock plain fram air cleaner ... Anyone know what could be causing this? Yes it was to GM many times when new and they could never figure it out. Or do they all do this?

I never heard any noise like that from either of my V6's or V8's

Maybe a slight whistling but popping and gurgling?

Pull the air intake off and start the car and see if the noise is still present.
