headers
i wanna buy either the rk sport headers, or the pacesetter ones but my buddy with a ws6 tells me no matter what, they will leak and i dont want that sh!T happening. is this true? do most headers leak? i know if i get good header gaskets it might not but who knows over time anything can happen. any imput would be cool thanx!

rksport will leak for sure, i havent heard of anybodys that havent. my cias leaked untill i used aluminum gaskets.

No problems with my CIA headers.
What kind of gains did u guys see from your CIA headers? I want to get some
I did the headers, high flow cat, 3" exhaust, and 180 thermostat all at the same time, so I don't know how much of it was just the headers... My 1/4 mile times went from 15.7 to 15.4
what year f-body do u have, and do u have a limited slip diff, and gears?
'98, automatic, limited slip, 3.42 gears, stock converter, street tires
you shouldnt have any trouble with the Pacesetters leaking as long as you do a good job with the gaskets. I recommend getting the 3-ply metal gaskets. I cant remember the brand, but I got mine through NAPA.

i had/have the pacesetter headers(still on car, just i dont drive it anymore). had them installed by a professional with the soft metal sytle gaskets. no leaks, sounds good.
my pacesetters don't leak at all, i love them. if u use the paper gaskets they send let them soak in water for a hour or so before u put them on it will help them keep from leaking. you can hear mine hear http://people.vanderbilt.edu/~tyler.w.zahnd/headers.avi that's with headers, hiflow cat, and flowmaster 80 muffler, stock i and over the axle pipes
