Exhaust width

What is the width of the stock exhaust before and after the cat on a 3.4l?

The width I don't know about but the diameter is 2.25 inches.

No problem.I threw an SS exhaust on my old 3.4 and it was a VERY nice improvement!

What I'm looking at doing (to save a few bucks before I sell the car) is using a cat from a 1995 LT1. Other than needing a couple adapters do you think it will work fine?
