I'm pretty sure his question wasn't should I buy a Z28 or not...it was about a cam.

I couldn't tell you price ranges cause when i had my 3.4L 95 Camaro it was just filling in till i could get a camaro that was in better shape. It got me to work and back. There's not a whole lot of potential for the 3.4 as it is laid out stock. however, if you are really serious about getting some performance out of your 3.4, I would highly recommend reading the sticky on this V6 Forum ("Some insight into the 3.4L OHV RWD"). That guy really knows what he is talking about. If you can follow the recommendations he gives then you'll be able to "wake up" the motor to realize its potential. Good luck and I hope you can get some great results out of it. I wish I had seen this when I had my 3.4, I may have kept it around longer.

When you click on the v6 tech section and the page comes up, look at the top and that is where the sticky is. Here is a link to make it easier:

if you havnt yet. Top end build. Grab one from a Grand Am, will get alot more flow since the 60* is very restrictive

that's basically what the sticky talks about. do that, and throw on a 75 shot and run it until she blows. i bet you'd surprise a lot of people on the street.
