How much HP does the 80 Series Flowmaster gave me? Im guessing like 5 but was just curious.

Im pretty sure the straight pipe added about 10HP

Im guessing im pushing out 175HP, 180 If im lucky at the wheels.

The muffler probably about 5, and the straight pipe less than 5....The OBDII cats were not very restrictive themselves.The pre '92 cats very horribly restrictive

 

well, the car has only 160 factory...thats at the engine not the wheels. ur at prob 135 140 ish factory at the wheels..so if u added 10-15.. ur prob at about 150 160 way tops at the wheels.

 

i would say that you should not even care what the flowmaster gives you, i had a flowmaster muffler on my old '94 and it showed no gain except for the gain of loudness, lol i would say that you buy a nice cheap CB for your car. im not too familiar with v6 exhaust offerings, however i used to have a hooker CB and it sounded great and diddnt hurt the wallet to bad.

A flowmaster will outflow a stock muffler, but it is prolly one of the worst-flowing aftermarket mufflers. Look into a Magnaflow catback, they sound good, flow well, and are stainless steel.
