ok, i know i weither have 3.09 or 3.23?? HOW CAN I tell!!?!?!?!

one more thing... no matter what (unless ground is wet) i CAN not peel out....and when i try to pwoer break, i can floor it... but engine wont let me get past 2k rps...

main thing, what gears does my car have? how can i tell..!!??

Check your RPO codes.

GU2 = 2.73
GU4 = 3.08
GU5 = 3.23
GU6 = 3.42

Some of the codes above probably don't even apply to a V6, but anyway...

You can find most of the codes from here.

Sounds like you have 3.08's, though.

Yea, the 2.73 isn't a V6 option lowest you can have on a 98+ V6 stock is 3.08.
