Ok, sometimes but not always, When im slowing down i put the car in neutral (5spd manual) and hit my brakes, the lights dim and my volts drop and then they`ll come back up. Sound like an alternator maybe to you guys?

just your car using the juice. Dont worry. Unless its really really bad.

exactly, most of the times this happens when i'm breaking, or even going into gear and dont give it enough revs....

just incase, check/clean teh battery terminals, and if you're **** about it, check out to make sure all your grounds are good and clean, but this shouldn't be necessary

Mine does the same thing. Brand new red top Optima and a new alternator later Ive learned that unless you want to drop 200 on a higher watt amp, the problem will always exist. Luckily I needed these parts or I would have just lived with the problem and never known. Makes having a system a PITA also...
