so i buy the K&N fipk off ebay for 145. good price right? nope cause i got a 3.8 and it doesnt fit! i need an elbow from the throttlebody to the end of the FIPK. will a V8 elbow work with little modification? because the 3.4 lt elbow wont fit. and i cut this crap outta it. there ant much clearence. the FIPK is from a 94 Z, did those have longer ends? because mine has the spot for a vacume line in it or something and i dont have any vacum lines to my stock ait box. i heard 93,94 had longer ends on the FIPK. i heard the 1LE elbow fits right up, would the regular V8 elbow fit with little modification? any sugestions? -nick-

 

Did you expect the 3.8 FIPK to fit a 3.4 with no hassle. Go to home depot and i'm sure you can find something to link it together.

 

its backwards. its theV8 (or 3.4 i guess) fipk for my 3.8 and yes because someone else told me they fit the same with the slp so i figured it was the same for K&N too. im going to home depot i hope somethin will fit
