94 3.4 T5. Out for the season/ Battery terminal junction

So It was finally nice enough to get my 20/20 94 out for the season and amongst various problems in the driveline due to the ingenious two piece drive shaft,(any suggestions on a good reasonably priced single piece, besides craigslist, are welcome) there was a battery power issue. it turned out to be a bad connection in the little plastic junction terminal on the passenger strut tower. I ended up mangling it in the process of removing the rusted nut. however, nobody seems to sell one of these. has anyone come accross a new one anywhere?

I bought a single piece aluminum drive shaft off ebay for $150 a few years back. It was from a guy who actually makes them from scratch himself. A shop somewhere in California if I remember correct.

As for the battery junction, it is a dealer part so I would try GM Parts Online or GM Parts Direct to see if it can still be bought. Other than that you might be able to get a generic one from auto zone or go to a junk yard.

Somehow I knew you would respond. +1 again. I appreciate the plug for the hand made drive shaft. I love supporting the little businesses of the country. However, I'm sure GM will stick me quite well on a new junction and this being Chicago, most junkyards are quite picked over in the F-body line. I have made the proper calls to be on the look out though. So with any luck someone will junk a half way decent one sometime soon. In any case, I'll soon be putting a new trans mount on the car along with the drive shaft. I haven't looked yet, but if there is no good write up on the site on how to properly change those out at home, I may post one.
