B&M Ripper Question

Hey, I've got a 97 Camaro 3800, intake and exhaust and I recently installed the B&M Ripper T5 short throw shifter. The shifter works great and makes a huge difference in the throws and overall feel of the drive. With this said, at high RMP's, somewhere close to 4000, it begins to make a rattling noise. There is no noise at idle or no noise even up to this point. I was just wondering if this is normal or if I'll have to go back in and replace something, possibly the bearing where the shifter meets the tranny. Thanks for the help.

likely to be that, its a cheap thing to replace.... unless u didnt do up one of the bolts properly, but thats less likely

it'll have no detremental effect on ur car, so just replace the bearing when u have time, i'm assuming u installed it urself, so trust me, it gets quicker everytime u take off/install one of those shifters (it now takes me 30 mins total, my 1st install took 2 hrs )
