What the hell happened!

I was on the way home from work cruisin at around 70, I pass a late 80's early 90's Dakota. I look in my rear view and I see this guy creeping on me he gets right on my *** and attempts to pass. I was like hell no...so I floor it and get her up to around 110-115 and shut it down. He was way back there. I slowed and got in the right lane, he catches up to me and said my car wasn't all that. Were probably at 60-65 and I said lets go! ( Sad I know..racing a Dakota) I honk three times and floor it and so did he. I slowly pulled away from him, when I got to 120 he was only 4 or 5 cars back. I shut it down and he turned down another road. I've beat other Camaro and Stangs worse than that! How did that truck hang like that???

dakota R/Ts with the 5.9 liter motor can be made to run PRETTY HARD with a blower or nitrous. they are small light trucks. dont get too worried about it.

I saw this same truck today racing a Impala SS. Looked like the 94-96 model Impala. I was at a car dealership outside of town near the main road ( I live in Arkansas! lol) and could hear tire squeeling from the direction of the red light in town. I look that way and see this same puke greenish brown Dakota whoopin this Impala by several cars. I watched for a far as I could see them and the Impala never caught up. I know the Impala is heavy and all, but I was kinda impressed with the little truck. I did hear a whine as they went by, don't know which car it was coming from. Could've been loud gears or something underneath creating a noise or like you said, it could be a supercharger! I'll find out who he is a get a look for myself!
