Supercharged '04 GT

I was crusing through my home town. I saw this Yellow (newer) GT with black bullit wheels riding around. It sounded really nice. I didn't see him agian for a while...till i was heading home and he got next to me again so i didn't turn into my neighborhood i just kept going straight....to make a long story short we did two pulls. First one was a 3rd gear and i pulled about a car length on him and by the time we shut down around 110 he was right next to me...I was like damn, this thing ain't stock AT ALL!!! So we did a 2nd gear roll and i pulled 1 1/2- 2 car lengths and we shut down around 100 and he was right next to me again! So we were coming up at this red light and i was like hells yea, going from a stop, but he turned into a gas station and we talked for a while.
His car:
2004 Mustang GT 5 speed
Vortec S-trim (6 or 8 lbs...i can't remeber)
Tuning
Intake
Headers
Exhaust

He ran a 12.8 @ 106 or 107 on street tires...not too shabby. He was pissed when he found out i had a stock LT1 (he thought it was a LS1) with Intake, Headers, Exhaust and i hung with him that well...anyways I think that was a pretty good kill considering he never passed me and he was the first one to shut down both times! I think it's sad when a Supercharged GT can barely hang with a 10 year old car with bolt-ons!

What plans do you have for that legacy? Do they have the 2.5 or the 2.0? I really like the looks of them. better just get, up/down pipe, exhaust, mbc, intercooler sprayer maybe. My friend with a WRX dropped over .5 off

It's the 2.5 liter, identical to the STi engine in every way except a much smaller turbo. I'll fix that asap, with a Forced Performance Green (puts DSMs into the 11s and 120+ traps). It'll get the other usual exhaust & fuel mods and probably a front-mount intercooler (black anodized for stock appearance). The goal is to build a killer sleeper that hasn't lost any luxuries along the way. I also want to introduce Subaru owners to the "cheap bastard" method of modding

I haven't run it since raising the boost to 17 psi after getting a datalogger to verify everything is still healthy. The tiny turbo loses boost badly after 5k rpm so it really needs a new hairdryer to get much quicker than mid 13s.
