6 am just getting off work. headed to the highway noticed im being followed by a crustang. as we enter the highway i see him building a head of steam up to pass so i put her in third and romp on it.as he passes me i notice the Roush emblems. By the end of third i was hanging right with him about 25 ft back. all the way to 135mph he didnt gain an inch and neither did i? did this guy not know how to drive or r those thing not that fast? either way it was friggin blast at 6 am lol:chevy:

Depends on what model Roush, do you know what body style (year wise) it was? They have multiple Stages of performance. Some are no faster than a 4.6l GT mustang, while others can be faster than a GT500.

Stage 1 and 2 Roush's are N/A, but can have different gear ratios, and can have roush bolt-ons as well.

Stage 3, 427R, and other various limited editions are Supercharged, and are usually quite fast.

It could have been anything man...Seeing your a bascially stock LT1 and he hung w/ you sounds like a stage 1 (NA) 99-04...which is basically a stock GT...that year GT runs pretty consistant w/ LT1's

427r is a very fast car, especially if they've been modded. Most 427r's around here whistle so loud u can hardly hear the exhaust.

I have a friend that has a stage 3roush with s pulley upgrade. I had all I could do too keep up with him on a 2007 r6. I stayed with him but man bikes are silly fast.
