Re: Race with TA (Vid)

The time for that particular race wasnt all that good. it was the same time i ran when the car was stock: 13.6. This was like a week after all of my stuff was installed and i was not used to driving it yet, let alone racing it. you can tell i ease it of the line then hit it because i was having traction issues.

No offense, but you should practice up on your launch, shift points and shift quickness. There's a whole lot more speed in that car, waiting for you to dig it out. You should be able to carve a second off your 1/4.

Re: Race with TA (Vid)

Yeah, I realize my launches suck. Here is where the problems lie in that run. The first is expereince. This race took place one week after ALOT of changes happened in the car. I was really not used to driving it yet. The second problem is street tires. No traction off the launch, so i took it easy. Another thing is i like to baby the clutch, because my last one exploded.
As far as shift quickness, i think thats about as fast as a guy can shift in my car anyway (syncro wear, ailing clutch etc...). But yeah, thanks for the observations. It is a quick car.
Anyway, what does anyone recommend for shift points? I just shift it right after redline.
