Played with a 99-03 Stang
 

I was in my 98Z and got gas and was on my way up to my g/f's mom's house to check out her computer. I was on the highway and saw the Stang merged on a ways in front of me and he took off. Because of traffic in that area, I caught up to him doing the speed limit and looked over. It was a vert w/ a cobra emblem. A little ways up the highway, it expands into 4 lanes. When we got to that part of the highway, the stang came up on me hard and obviously wanted to play. :D

I dropped it into 3rd and honked 3 times. We both hit it and I pulled away pretty hard, hit 4th and was still pulling until we had to slow down for the traffic ahead of us. We slowed down and let traffic get ahead of us some and matched them up again. 3 honks and we were off. I started pulling away and then he started pulling me, I hit 4th and he was leaving me and he had to get over a lane to dodge traffic he was coming up on. We didn't play anymore and went on our own seperate ways because we had caught up with traffic. :p

1 for me and 1 for him. I was thinking he might have hit nitrous on the 2nd run, but I was blaring my music so I didn't hear anything. As far as I know, the 03 Cobra didn't come as a vert. :shrug:

It'd be nice to know what he had.....maybe next time. I do need to get off my lazy ass and put my CAI on though. ;)

Nice kill nice death, yes the 03/04 Cobras come in a vert but there are alot of visual differences plus the Cobra says "COBRA" rear bumper.

What a way to have some fun. He might of hit the NOS on you on that second run. Especially if he performed alot better on the second run.

If it was an 03/04 cobra you shouldn't have won technically, wether he missed a shift or what I don't know. I'm doubtin he had nitrous, maybe he just drove correctly the second time but it's hard knowing since we don't know what year the car was.
