Few months ago in April or May I took my car to Gateway in stl for midnight madness. Just bought the car in march. Anyway we had been running all night to see what itd do. Ran 14.4 consistently on near bald tires. On my fifth and final pass I took my sister with. Of course I line up with a trans am when I got a passenger. She helped it hook though. Best launch all night. I jump out on this auto T/A by 3 lengths. Finally he hunts me down and passes me at the very end when im hitting 4th gear. Ran 14.7 with sister in car.
After I go talk to the guy and find out its an LS1 and not an LT1. So I would have beat an ls1 in my lt1 if my sis wasnt riding shotgun. Whether the T/A was in bad shape or not im proud of my lt1 for losing by a wheel to an LS1.

Gonna put 3:90's in it. I plan on doing a build this winter. Afr heads and a voodoo 60121 or 60122 cam and scorpion 1.6 roller rockers. Hoping to hit mid 11's.
