Mustang and Lightning Kill

Last night I was going to 7-11 for a slurpee when a 1998-2002 Mustang V6 came barreling past me on a turn. A little bit later we both pull into the same 7-11. That stang had 5-6 people inside who knows how. I get out of my car and they all get out pointing and laughing at my car. I just go on about my business. I get back into my car and wait a min since it took all of them awhile to get thru the register, and I figured if they want to be punks about it, then they can get a free showing of tail lights. They all cram into their car and start pointing and laughing and waving bye bye to me. I rev then drive off to the road and drive slowly waiting for them to attempt a ricer fly by. Sure enough from 3 carlenghts back they floor it, i let them get 5-6 carlengths on me before i floored it just to show them how slow their car was. A few seconds later i go freight training past them and then brake. The mustang continued to try to fly by me, but every attempt was greeted by my tailights. The road merged into one lane, so he got the flasher treatment just to rub it in even further. The stang then procedes to ride my *** like a tool for several miles before I turned off and he floors it past me. It felt good to put a tool like that in his place, i could only imagine what he was telling the people in his car about why he got his *** handed to him so badly.

Then this morning on my way to work a Lightning decides to tailgate me for a few miles. He then got next to me and started to goose the throttle but I did not bite because their is always radar set up on that part of the road, and surely enough as i pass the police had pulled over a great looking C3 Corvette that i noticed merge onto the road while i was waiting at the traffic light. Further down the road the lightning is still toying with me. We go from a 70 mph roll, and i put no less then 5 car lenghts on him in quick fashion. I was amazed, I always see lightnings around and dont try to mess with them because they can be made very fast really easily. This guy got demolished, I am posting this one up because i am confused. He took the jump, and i just pulled on him. WHY??? Don't those trucks trap 104 stock? My car is pig heavy, i took it to the weight station the other night and was 3,820 lbs with 3/4 tank of gas and me at 180 lbs in it. Today I had 1/8 tank so it was a little lighter, but I was expecting to get my *** handed to me.

Lightnings strong suit is not 70+ mph starts for sure. Hard to say if he was stock or modded. With slicks they leave like a rocket, but for a freeway tangle they better have a bunch of mods.

Good kills......I wish I could run a '94 and up F-bod in my Lightning. I never get good encounters around here. I need to get my truck dyno'ed now that I have the 6lb lower on it.......I do not think I fall into the "SLOW" category
