Cool Modded WRX v.s. Altima With The Giggles...

So I'm hanging out with a couple of friends Sat. night at our local spot. I wanted to run someone because I was getting rid of the car Sun. So a friend of mine talks to the Rex/Evo crew across the parking lot. They got their fastest car, a pretty heavily modded WRX, to agree to run me for $50 bucks. The only request I had is that he let me move first, obviously you should all know why...

So we go line up. I do a few dry hops, crack the bottle open, and flick my highbeams to let him know I'm ready. I leave first with very minor wheelspin. He's right there for the first 10ft or so. As soon as I roll out, at about 3k, I go to the juice. We are door to door through 1st. He shifts second and falls a nose back. Goes to shift 3rd and has some trouble getting it in gear and falls back about 1-2 cars, but he stays in it. From there I continued to pull 5-6 cars throughout the finish.

It was a very good run, despite what you're probably thinking. If he hadn't missed 3rd I think it prolly would have been a fairly close race. The guy couldn't drive worth a crap.

Supposedly his WRX had been in the 12s. Didn't say where in the 12s, just "in the 12s". The obvious modds were CAI, Cat-back, BOV, FMIC, and all kinds of electronics/gauges inside. I'm sure he had a little more than just that done to run in the 12s, but who knows??

My car/moD, singular is in sig. My car went the ET in sig with a 80 shot, I had the 100 pill in that night....

wait so you're telling me it basically runs with an lt1 stock...and that it should take out most pre-2000 mustangs.

so the altima runs better than the 350z?

I dont know 'bout the 3.5 but my 2.5 S has buttloads of torque for such a small motor, yet falls FLAT on its face on the top end

Wish I had gotten a 3.5 so I could toy around with it too but it looks like its gonna just stay stock as originally planned

Hows that 3.5 on the top end off the juice? on it?
