LT1 vs. stage 2 SRT4

I was driving down the connector about 2 weeks ago and saw this neon w/out the wing or the dual exhaust tips. He took of when we were going around 70mph and it looked like he pulled pretty hard. I catch up to him about 2 miles later and we slow to 60. 3 honks and we hit it. i was at the shifting point from 2-3 so i start from 3 a pull a half car to about 70 and then he starts walking. I shut down at 100 with him 2 cars ahead. I give him a thumbs up and go on my way home. I noticed the WV plates.

At the raceway last night for the first time this season and recognize his car his car there cuz of the plates. I told him i was the firebird he raced a couple weekends ago and he says "thats Lt1 kept up good with me at those highway speeds." I find out that he had the stage 2 and he was running 12.5's(DR's) at 108-109 and saw a couple of his runs. 13.1's was all he could run on street tires. I assumed he was a 103-107mph car cuz of the way he pulled on me on the highway. He was actually a pretty cool guy. Most of the people w/ SRT4's here are cocky highschool kids who just talk smack all day long. Makes me want to start modding my car heavily.

Thats what i was thinking especially at 2600ft elev. From what i hear though FI isnt effected as much as N/A at higher elevations. There was a C6 at the track running 13.3-13.4's at 105ish.
