lighting kill
I raced one about 2 weeks ago (03 I think)
Sounded mean, so we went from the light. I pulled in well in front of him before I finished 3rd and we pulled over into a gas station after, nice truck.
I always thought they were pretty fast. The guy who does my trans work has one with a built motor and 200 shot. THAT one is fast lol.

That was a good race.
My now sold 2003 Lightning ran very well for what little I had done to it.
I put a tune to it, a Metco 4 lb. lower, MAC cai, FTVB (shift kit), 2" drop in the rear, no hitch, no jack and some water wetter in the intercooler.
I ran a 12.57@111.4 with that setup....I had $700 in the truck mod wise.
I then put a ported blower and ran a 12.61@112.8.
Way to easy to get Lightnings to run 12's...to bad they weigh what they do. Mine raceweight was 4700 lbs.
