So this young kid at my work, a die hard Ford guy, shows up in an 03 Cobra. Cobra has pulleys, exhaust (not sure if it has headers), Brembo front brakes, Coil overs all the way around and not sure what else. He is the fourth owner and the car only has 24,000 miles, so I am sure the car has been beat pretty good. My 96 WS6 is as shown in the sig. I tell him if he want to run me from a dig he better get some drag radials. So we race twice, the first from about a 35 MPH roll. He puts less than a car length on me to about 100. I thought he would pull on me harder than that. Next race is from a light. I don't drive my car much so I always have drag radials on (Nitto's). I put about 2 lengths on him right away and stay in front until we let off at about 100. At the end he was probably 1/2 a length behind. So, technically I won, although I think he would have passed me in the quarter. That blower on the Cobra sounds nasty coming up from behind where you don't have any exhaust noise. I guess its power adder time for me.
