I have the kumos VR racers. raced my buddies zo6 from stop this weekend got him till about 110 then he was on my ***. Slicks help you but you have to have the power also. Slicks help like steve said but does he have the power.

 

Hey rob let me ask you a question since you have owned awd cars. my buddies lancer has about 5000 in mods ok he runs 7.9s at track but from roll starting in 1 2 3 then at 90 to 112 115 my car can keep up with his from roll. edge him out. I know its the awd and I run 8.6s from stop. If I got 1.7 sixty footas like his could I run 7.9 8.0s beause it does not make sense from roll yes 1 2 3 then he walks me But I dont think slicks will help...

If I didn't need DRs I surely would not have wasted the $$ on them. The Stang is a joke on street tires on the track I go to. Spin in 1st till I hit 2nd, spin in 2nd and get sideways for a couple seconds then finally hook up. The DRs have given me at least 5 carlengths in the 1/4 mile on average.

Not everyone has thousands of dollars like you to dump into a hopeless 98GT to make it fast(which isnt even a 98GT anymore)...If they put into there LT1's what you've had into that turd you would really be bowing.
