You know, every time someone posts about beating a Mustang, you show up and point out that not all Mustangs are slower than whatever it was that beat them.

You know what? Most Mustangs are slower than stock LT1 Camaros.

So shut up. We know your car is fast; Mustangs in general aren't nearly as fast. How much money have you spent to make it that way?

We all know it takes way more for him to go fast in his stang than in an F-body, but you shouldn't hate on delusional mustang drivers too much

By the way, you're correct I show up as much as I can to ENSURE people like you with your 13 second wonderride know you can and will get your azz cracked by a MUSTANG regardless of how much money is spent in order to do that.

Go have yourself a great day mmmmmk?

Funny you mention how much I'm spending. I've never once at the dragstrip or otherwise had someone say "how much did you spend" before we ran......

Interesting concept though thanks for that input

When I got into cars in the late '80's it was the 5.0 stang was the late model car to have. The only cars made in the '80's that was faster was the corvette and the rarely seen GN's and even rarer TTA's.
But when chevy came out with the LT1 the F body was faster stock. But there were already modded 9 second 5.0s out there so the Ford camp is'nt worried. Then the stock '96-'98 cobra was equal to the stock LT1 with it being a drivers race between them. But when they came out with the LS1 in the F body it was more than a match for the mustang but modded mustangs were in the 7's already in 1997 so the Ford camp still was'nt worried. But for some reason the LS1 F bodies did'nt sell well at all which was less than half of mustang sales. So in '02 some Ford guys rejoiced while the fastest 5.0's were dipping into the 6's.Then in '03 they came out with the 390hp supercharged Cobra and the Mach 1. The cobra was more than a match for a LS1 and the N/A 5 speed Mach1 could give a LS1 a good race. With of introduction
of the GT500 its not only the fastest regular production mustang ever but is faster than any Regular production F body.
1982-1992 mustang faster
1993-2002 F body faster
2003- present mustang faster
Fastest production car of either car. GT500. Since they're making over 5000 of them a year they are considered a production car. The 600hp and 725 hp supersnakes are'nt considered production because of low numbers just like the ZL1 camaro.
Also a bone stock '05 present mustang GT is a solid 13 second car while the LT1 is a very high 13 second car at best with most running 14.0-14.1.
Mustangs are now capable of mid 6's. theres even a 4.6 mustang that has run 6.5@215mph. I beleive the fastest 4th gen F body has only run a high6 6 second pass. GEEZE, mustangs were in the 6's for 6-7 years.LS1's are just starting to get there now.

so how long ago where 1st and 2nd gen fbodys in the 6s... youre saying ls1s are just getting there... they also just came out 10 years ago where as your 5.0s were out since the 80s.. with time any car will be made faster by someone...

i think some of these tools are just blah blah blahing about mustang vs. fbody garbage... stock for stock who gives a damn because if youre gonna race the cars chances are you wont keep them stock... so its mainly who has the better set up.. i know a turbo fox guy, i know a guy with a blown GT running 11.1s @ 124... and i know MANY MANY lsx guys.. and honestly we crack back and forth oh u have a ford oh you have a chevy blah blah but its all joking... we know whos cars are quick and whos arent (like mine haha)

and the GT500 was never aimed at the fbody... hell why would it be they have been out of production for 5 years so how could they compare? GT500 was aimed at the vette...

Its funny how guys love to argue Ford vs. Chevy.... I mean really argue it I just joke around. Its insane really; they all use the same technology. Theres no huge difference btw them. Were all gear heads here we all know that. So kids grow up, and have a great day mmmmk.
