My friend just bought a '94 camaro z28 m6 and it has headers, cai,single aftermarket exhaust, and a short shifter. I have a '96 camaro z28 m6 with borla exhaust, and ss ram air. We are going to race in a week because he wants to get used to his car first but I'm confident I am a better driver and I have had my car a lot longer. Just wondering if I have a chance to beat him. i will post who won after we race.

He'd beat you by a car if he knew how to drive correctly, but if you're as good as you say you are, get a good launch, and a 2 car jump, you'll keep him behind you for the duration.
