I rarely read this forum, but thought I would today since I have my own story to share. Looks like I'm not the only one getting in on the SRT4 fun. Anyways...here it is:

Well, I had been asking for it (not really, but have been wanting to run one of these cars pretty bad).

Cruising along following my friend in his civic after leaving a restaraunt (its about 1:50am), minding our own business i see this yellow car come flying by me. I then notice its an SRT4 and he starts tryin to mess with my friend in his civic. My friend's civic is slow beyond the meaning of the word slow. (he got beat by a 4spd Tercel on the hwy later this same night) My friend knows his civic is slow and just slows down and lets me get next to the neon. I go around my friend and get next to the SRT4.

We go through a couple green lights until we finally get to a pretty good straight open stretch and we nail it at the same time from probably about 50mph. It was REALLY close at first and about the top of 3rd, I started to pull on him. Well a second or so later, I'm thinking...damn I'm in 4th WOT on a city street and I have already started to pull on him...time to back off.

Stop next to him at the next light and he rolls down his window and he had a car full! I only had 1 passenger. Can't believe he still kept up like that with all that weight, haha. Those cars are pretty quick.

We take off from the light kinda slow, but then both punch it in 1st. I pull him better this time, but we both back off about 70 or so due to some traffic ahead.

Guess I am happy with the results...I pulled him and thats all that matters. I wonder what all he had done though. I could hear his BOV with my windows up and under WOT.

Oh yeah, my car has Jet-Hot LTs, off road Y-pipe, spintech muffler, SLP CAI, free mods, spec stage 2, and a few other little things.

 

Yea I want to get one so I can race all the people that wont race my z28 because it is a v8. Good kill.
