Those 98 Limiteds with the 5.9 360 are no joke. I always liked those things, it's definitely a badass sleeper SUV, add a supercharger and you are making some serious power.

Good kill! Those Jeeps are sweet. But if the Stang guy learns to drive and gets even a couple of mods, your days of beating him are over.

Mustangs shouldn't need mods to beat JEEPS!

Nice kill

Your right. But that Jeep was a special case. 245 horses 345 ft/lbs. But if you compare a '98 Cobra to a '98 Grand Cherokee 5.9 the Jeep gets smoked (both same year top of the line models).

That's cool an all, but you should have tuned it up for him at least.
I have a 03GrandCher............its nice, faster than what i would expect, but its not going to beat a 5.0........maybe you had some distance on him in the first place?
Anywho........
Mine is gray.......very nice

Stock for stock a '98 5.9 Grand Cherokee is a very close race for a '95 5-speed GT. Motor Trend lists the Grand at 15.2 at 88.xx and the GT at 15.1 at 92.xx and 15.4 at 88.xx.

well, i guess i could be a bigger moron an tell ya that Motor trend sucks, but ok.
I thought i just said I own a 03 of the same, but i guess that doesnt matter. I also have a friend who just finally got his 95 back up to factory specs(he had it sitting for 5yrs not doing ANYTHING to it)........oh well, not flamin..........I know how slow GT's are......................and a bolt on GT sure as hell cant run a LS1 either eh steve? Cuz motor trend rates them at 13.6 an our GT's at 14.2.......

was pretty funny to see it tearing down the track!
