I had been drivin about an hour on the interstate, comin home from the beach, im goin ~80 and i see a pewter (UGLY) vette vert infront of me, i speed up a bit to catch up to him and i see about a 55-60 yr old man driving. I pull up beside em and right as im about to pass em he looks over, grins at me, and hits the gas. I just watched as he went about 100ft ahead of me. So i catch back up and floor it to pass him, this time, right as i get to the back of his door, he downshifts and the race ensues. I pulled on him until we were pretty much in line. The race stays this even until about 130 when we shut down. I think i did pretty good considering the minor mods (btw this was not a zo6, just a reg vette) (also with top down )

and yes i thought the same thing about the vette being an idiot for goin to 130, but i wasnt shutting it down until he did, i figured i was safer

oh and btw, we saw 2 cops drive by right in between one of our spats, i guess i was kinda lucky considering my age to his (im almost 18)

oh i know how lucky i am but im not like most of the people i know with fast cars, all they do is drive like 70s in 55s and 50s in 35s, i just go 5 over most of the time, everyone knows a cop would rather give a SS a ticket over a lumina (and so would i haha)

How much did you get on your trade in on your 95 camaro?

I can def see you doing what you did with a top down vette. That is quite crazy to be going that fast with the top down. I have been 115 with the top down and i didnt like it to much...way to much wind.


What are your future plans on mods?

If you have some traction problems may i suggest some LCA's. They are cheap, and will help you out for hooking. A torque converter or long tubes are probably your best bet performance wise.
