I would get some stock firebird springs but I want a stiffer spring rate to retain some performance. I have hotchkis lowering springs right now which have a 1" drop on the passenger side and 1.25" front driver and .5" rear driver, very stupid looking. Also way too low for my longtubes and duals with cats and the drivers cat sits as low or lower than the longtubes and more in the center of the car so it scrapes on EVERYTHING. I need that extra inch of ride height and I saw a 97 ws6 the other day that looked like it had a nice stance so looks wont suffer much like I was originally worried about. That was the reasoning now I just need to know if anyone sells them new, didnt see any on the slp website. I also need to know which year to get, if the ls1 springs are stiffer that would be good also if there is a difference in ride between the ls1 ws6 springs on an lt1 compared to the 96-97 ws6 springs...??

 

You might look into 1LE springs...they are factory height with higher spring rates.

Ground control coilover kit. Choose your spring rates, then set the rideheight.

 

Well one thing I know is the 00-02 WS6's didnt come with WS6 springs. In 99 GM stop suppling the WS6 springs and you got the same spring supplied on a Z28. I know the 98-99's came with the actual WS6 spring, I am not real famliar with the LT1 models.
