Back in Jan I ran a worn out set of BFG drag radials
My average 60 footers were 1:95's
since then I swapped in tub LCA's
no changes
Upgraded to Sphoon LCA brackets using lowest hole I can't get any better than 2:00's
I have tried the same BFG's, I have used Nitto's (Larger tires also at 315/ on 17" rim) MT Street radials, M/T E/T Streets, now last night M&H Race Masters. I can't seem to get this thing to hook solid. Track sucks, but consistantly sucks. Even on the street I'd spin them hard. I'm now where as fast as most of you; but I'm a firm beliver of using what I Have.
Am I using the LCA brackets wrong? Should I un-do and go back to where I started? Move up two holes or one?
I want to get this corrected before the engine comes out and the goodies and spray go on. (Plus the panhead and Center torque arm)

 

maybe thats all shes gonna give you with the current setup?

try a higher stall tc, or put your other goodies on and see what happens. im in the same boat even tho i dead hook everytime. my problem is stock tc. nothing else i tried (not that i have many suspension mods) did a damn thing.

 

With stock everything else except Lakewood Tubed LCA's my best on street tires is 2.09 I think you need to work on your launch is the only thing I can think of. Other shot is to try a higher stall TC
