took back brakes off, reinstalling...

I was wondering what all is involved in bleeding the brakes if all I did was take the calipers off for installing a 12 bolt rearend. The lines are just sitting there draining, do I need to put more fluid in? I have never done this before, but my friend helping has.. any advice is appreciated.

i just swapped out the rear on my car and replaced the rear calipers.. from what i read, you should try to have the car on an incline so the resevoir is sitting level, and just bleed the brakes normally.. worked for me the second time through..

if you have ABS and it doesnt bleed properly for you the first time, don't forget to bleed that puppy.. its the block that all the lines connect to under the hood.
