Sway bar clearance issue after upgrade

I upgraded my 95 Z to a UMI tubular K-member and LS1 brakes. After getting it back together I notice my passenger side steering rod hits the sway bar when turned to the right lock. It turns all the way to the right but rubs the last inch or so of the steering rod where it meets the boot. After fiddling with the a-arms adjustments I just can't figure out why its rubbing. So, my question is this: Can I raise the sway bar with longer end links without having any issues? I temporarily raised it approx 1.5" and it clears the steering rod. Any thoughts? Also, what is the stock sleeve length? The one I have is 2.5". Thank you.
