Spongy brake pedal

I recently had the 2 brake lines that lead to the ABS system replaced. The problem now is I have a spongy brake pedal, it will stop if I slam on the brakes. Is a brake bleeding in order? and dif this still doesn't cure, what could be the problem? Thanks ahead of time

Re: Spongy brake pedal

You have air in the lines; your system needs to be bleed until all the air is out of the lines.
