Replacing brakes yourself

anyone have any helpful tips/tricks for replacing the front brake pads and the rear pads in the drum on a 95 camaro? going to do it myself to save some money

just watch what your doing and put it back together the same man its not all that bad just make sure u got a c clamp

Do one side at a time have the rear end up and both tires off so you can reference the springs on the untouched side of the drum brakes.

Check your front pads for uneven wear,more wear on one pad could mean stuck sliders or a seized caliper.

yeah, what he said, make sure the caliper pins arent seized, if they are you can get a rebuilt caliper for about $50 at any auto parts store, and make you you use proper lube for the pins.
