relo brackets
ive got some bmr and they are on the low setting my cars lowered about an inch maybe inch and 1/4 and the lca are still angelded up, stock lca btw...anyway to get them back to the correct geometry? my other car isnt lowered as much and they are angeled down like they are supposed

Sorry, I'm still a little confused reading this.
So, you've already installed your BMR relocation brackets and you installed the stock LCAs in the lowest hole? Now the LCA is still angled in the wrong direction (axle higher than chassis)? Please clarify so we can help you. |
yes exactly...i saw on ls1tech some1 made extentions for theirs...i mean i understand theres not really anything to do but extend them, cant mount the body side any higher...so you have to go lower on the axle side....just doesnt make sense you guys should be lowered more than i am
|
The LCAs are naturally angled upward on the axle side a few degrees (in stock form even). They should be close to horizontal, and it's fine if they are angled up a bit and you don't have wheel hop.
|
i do have wheel hop thats my problem. if i hit it from 10 mph its fine until the tq is gone at about 4000 rpm it starts hopping in 1st...street tires
|
UGHH, I hope I don't have this problem. Any of you guys got pics of your lowered car with the LCA relo Brackets. I'd like to see the angle.

fixed mine bad bushings in the lca's

Old post but I never had the problems mentioned above and I'm now enjoying a set of UMI control arms as well!
