Question about winter driving

Has anyone tried driving a camaro in the snow by adding some 200 pounds in the back and putting on good winter tires?

My question is will this constant added weight cause any problems with the springs sagging? Since you can visibly see that the car has added weight to the back, but now it gets much better traction in the snow.

Any answer is appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Question about winter driving

Put air bags in the rear springs to prevent the body from dropping due to the extra weight. 200# seems excessive.

Re: Question about winter driving

Adding weight to the rear is a myth. Four snow tires would be a better option or buy a beater for winter driving.
