new brakes

I just did the rear brakes on my 98 SS i put cross drilled rotors on back. I took it for a spin and i am getting a metal on metal sound very lightly when i push the brake it gets louder. So i replace all the hardware except the rubber bushing over the sliders and tried that and it still does it.What could be the problem? Do you think it might be just the rotors or something else that i missed?sorry for the newb question .
