im in the middle of a 1le suspension swap. on the front spring/shock mount. i cant get the rubber mounting to let go of the shock shaft. i think its rusted to gether? i took the nut offand the rubber insert spacer. so far i tried a gear puller , but that seems to pulling the metal collar out of the rubber. is collar in the rubber mounting threaded? i know you guys have done this a million times any help please.

 

never mind they were rusted so i ended up cutting the shocks off with a hacksaw. had to get new shock mounts though. for the first time ever an auto parts store near me had them in stock.
