manual rack pros and cons

as the title says, what are the pros and cons of switching to a manual rack?

i know in my third gen the frame rail that holds the steering box is subject to alot of torque because of the steering box, so removing the steering box would remove that stress, i have a wonder bar and a tubular k-member, i'll be putting in sfc's soon, so is stress really a big factor?

i know since there would be no power steering i do save horsepower but it makes parking a little tough
